Wedding Q&A
Everything you need to know before we say “I do.”
When and where is the wedding?
Our wedding will take place in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Please visit the Events section of our website for full details on the ceremony and reception locations, dates, and times.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is Formal / Black-Tie Optional. We encourage guests to dress elegantly—think tuxes, formal suits, floor-length gowns, or chic cocktail dresses. This will be a special evening, and we can’t wait to celebrate in style with you.
Is this an indoor or outdoor wedding?
The wedding will be a combination of outdoor and indoor spaces. We recommend dressing comfortably for warm weather while keeping the formal dress code in mind.
What will the weather be like in Tegucigalpa?
September in Tegucigalpa is typically warm and lush, with daytime temperatures generally in the 70s–80s°F. It is part of the rainy season, so brief showers are possible, usually passing quickly. We recommend light, breathable fabrics and being prepared for warm evenings.
Are children invited?
While we absolutely love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. Exceptions have been made for a small number of children within our immediate family. We appreciate your understanding as we keep the day intimate.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Due to the intimate nature of our wedding and limited guest capacity, plus-ones are by invitation only. If a plus-one has been extended to you, the option will appear when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding and respecting our guest list.
How do I RSVP?
Please RSVP through the RSVP section of our website. We kindly ask that each guest respond individually by the deadline noted. If possible, please RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation. We ask that you RSVP before July 31st. After that date, any unanswered invitations will be marked as “not attending” due to our vendors’ cutoff dates.
Will transportation be provided?
Transportation details, including airport transfers and event-day transportation, can be found in the Travel section of our website.
Do I need a passport to travel to Honduras?
Yes, a valid passport is required for international travel. We recommend ensuring your passport meets international travel requirements well in advance. More travel guidance is available in the Travel section.
Is there a registry?
Your presence at our wedding, especially as this is a destination celebration, truly means the world to us and is more than enough. However, for those who feel inclined, we have created a registry which will be linked on our website. Gifts are entirely optional and sincerely appreciated.
Will there be food and drinks?
Yes. Join us for a night of great food, drinks, and dancing as we celebrate with family and friends.
Is there a beach nearby?
While Tegucigalpa itself is inland, the bride and groom, along with a few friends and family, will be traveling to Roatán after the wedding to enjoy the beach. If you are interested in joining or extending your trip, feel free to reach out to us directly. We would love to share more details.
Who should I contact if I have questions?
If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly. We are happy to help.
